What To Expect
01. Consultation
Meet Dr. Kluska at our Commerce, Buford, or Monroe office. He examines your jaw, neck, and skin, and tells you which approach will serve you best. You leave with a plan and a price.
02. Planning
Surgery is scheduled, medical clearance completed, and preparation reviewed with you. That includes stopping smoking and avoiding aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications beforehand.
03. Surgery
Performed in our accredited surgical suite, usually under general anesthesia. You go home the same day with a compression garment around the chin and neck.
04. Recovery and Follow-Up
After SmartLipo, most patients return to light activity the next day and normal activity within about a week. The garment is worn day and night for the first few days. After a surgical neck lift, plan for about two weeks of social downtime. Swelling settles over several weeks, and the final contour appears at three to six months.
