Liposuction Options at Aesthetic Arts
Body contouring is performed as an outpatient procedure, usually under general anesthesia. Prior to the procedure, the area will be carefully marked to guide the procedure.
Hips, flanks, and back
Love handles, bra-line fullness, and the curve above the hip that interrupts the waist.
Thighs and knees
Inner thighs that meet, outer thighs that widen the silhouette, and the pad above the knee.
Arms
Fullness along the upper arm. For firm skin, liposuction alone restores the line. For looser skin, Dr. Kluska may pair it with an arm lift.
Chin and neck
A double chin that persists regardless of weight. A short procedure with a significant effect on the profile.
In combination
Liposuction is often added to a tummy tuck, breast reduction, or mommy makeover to refine the surrounding contour.
THE PROCESS
What To Expect
01. Consultation
Meet Dr. Kluska at our Commerce, Buford, or Monroe office. He examines the areas you are considering, assesses your skin, and recommends an approach. You leave with a plan and a price.
02. Planning
Surgery is scheduled, medical clearance completed, and preparation reviewed with you.
03. Surgery
Performed in the Aesthetic Arts surgical suite, usually under general anesthesia, through incisions a few millimeters long. The SmartLipo laser liquefies fat before removal and tightens the tissue above it. You go home the same day in a compression garment.
04. Recovery and Follow-Up
Walking the next day. Light activity within days. Normal activity within about a week, exercise at around four weeks. The final contour appears over three to six months as swelling settles.

Dr. Kluska spent 15 years in private practice in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA, before he was asked to be Medical Director of The Greenbrier Center for Cosmetic Surgery and MedSpa and its affiliated services in Beckley, West Virginia.
Dr. Kluska’s impressive resume includes seven years of elite membership on the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s Board of Trustees before his prestigious appointment as President in 2017.
He was certified “Master Surgeon in Plastic Surgery” by the prestigious Surgical Review Corporation in 2020.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. It removes localized fat for contouring and takes off a few pounds at most. The change is in shape, not on the scale. Patients with significant weight to lose are better served by our medical weight loss program first.
Removed fat cells are gone permanently. Remaining cells can enlarge with weight gain, which is why a stable weight protects the result.
Laser-assisted liposuction. The laser liquefies fat before removal, reducing trauma and recovery time, and heats the tissue beneath the skin to stimulate collagen. The result is tighter, smoother skin than traditional liposuction alone.
Incisions are a few millimeters long, placed in natural creases. They fade over the first year and are rarely visible afterward.

Initial change within a few weeks. Final contour at three to six months
SmartLipo tightens skin that still has elasticity. Significantly loose skin may require a tummy tuck, arm lift, or other skin removal, which Dr. Kluska will discuss with you.
